PROJECT

Promote, organize, equip and staff official groundbreaking ceremony of new Martinrea Technical Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan. The 108,200-sq.-ft. facility, which combines Martinrea’s sales and engineering offices, was completed in summer 2017.

TACTICS

• Developed and implemented media outreach plan to inform and build awareness of the ground-breaking ceremony

     - Develop press materials -- wrote press release, agenda, company      backgrounder, FAQ

     - Pitched story to media and arranged executive interviews

• Developed marketing collateral -- signage, invitations and other event collateral

• Secured infrastructure and equipment to host event, including invitations, tent, chairs, tables, sound system, catering

• Contracted photographer and videographer to cover event

• Attended by 65 key media, dignitaries and customers

• Recognition from State Senator Jim Marleau to Martinrea Executive Chairman Rob Wildeboer
