LOVE IN MOTION BENEFIT
PROJECT
• Select venue for the benefit
• Develop and distribute invitations
• Create and post signage
• Provide on-site support before and during the event
•Negotiate event sponsors, including major automotive suppliers, financial services providers and Detroit-area businesses
• Secure acclaimed Detroit TV news anchor emcee for the evening
• Recruit entertainment, including local singers, musicians and dancers
• Write, distribute and pitch press releases
• Use social media to target audiences
• Manage logistics, including catering, AV support, tables/chairs and volunteers

TACTICS
• Develop goals, tactics and timeline for the program to ensure largest sponsorship, artist participation and audience turnout to gain the maximum exposure for the event and optimize the potential to raise money for Mend on the Move.
• Developed and implemented media relations campaign
• Developed and executed an events timeline, including: Securing venue, catering, entertainment, emcee, photographer and volunteers, Renting tables, chairs and linens, Writing and distributing press release; coordinating media interviews at the event, Leveraging Social Media to promote the event, Creating and placing posters, banners and other signage, Developing and distributing invitations, Providing on-site support, including setting up the venue, coordinating the event activities, Tracking results and providing post-event results to Mend on the Move

RESULTS
• More than 100 people attended the Mend on the Move annual “Love in Motion” benefit
• Generated funding to help Mend on the Move create a mobile studio with dual purpose as a creation station and a retail space
• Coverage in metro Detroit print and broadcast media
